(September 22, 2016, 9:59 am)Fantastic Library. Extremely quiet with a great historic building on the outside but modern facilities within. Hardly anyone goes here, making it a plus for doing research or working.
The library offers a variety of children, family and adult programs year round which make it great. Good book and movie selection as well.

The Locust Valley Library was founded by Frank N. Doubleday, Frederick A. Horsey, Edward Latting, James T. Mitchell, Jr., Dr. Edward Seaman, Charles F. Williams, and Edward M. Ward on October 17, 1909, with a $300 contribution from the year-old Matinecock Neighborhood Association.
