(September 4, 2018, 10:36 pm)Old-growth groves. Hidden forest paths. Trickling streams under humble foot-bridges and a pond-side observation deck. Strikingly diverse flora in late spring to early summer. If you're quiet, you might see swans or a heron. Highly recommended for a light, quiet hike. No facilities. Closed Fridays.
(July 28, 2018, 9:02 am)Great nature preserve! If you want to take a short hike I definitely recommend this preserve. While some parts were a little muddy (after all it is a swamp area lol) there were boards strategically placed to help. It was a very peaceful and beautiful hike. The water area was loaded with trout and had a beautiful bridge to relax and enjoy it. Along the trail we were fortunate to spot a huge turtle before he retreated to his hidding spot. The trails were well marked but you still felt isolated in the woods. Excellent trail will definitely return.
(July 6, 2018, 5:17 pm)We just love it here it's a great little Nature Preserve with a small Loop so it's good for young kids. There's a pond there with several swans and ducks and koi. It's not too big so you won't get lost.
(May 12, 2018, 1:09 pm)Randomly went to this place after a client meeting cause it was just 5 mints away. My third round of jogging by the same spot I noticed a swan family and spent about half hour with them, watching them wake up from their nap, stretch, get into the water and start looking for food. Met a elder man along the way and he showed me some other wildlife including a snapper turtle and types of fish. Turned out to be a beautiful ending to my day!
