    It's an enjoyable museum if you have at least the faintest interest in Theodore Roosevelt. It walks you through his life, somewhat chronologically, starting with his parents and ending with his death. Once you've completed the museum, be sure to hike the nearby trail down to the beach.

    Small but well-curated museum that celebrates the life and times of President Theodore Roosevelt. Definitely one of the highlights of any visit to Sagamore Hill.

    A self guiding tour with objects from the life of Theodore Roosevelt. Very informative and interesting. I was very fortunate to see Theodore Roosevelt’s metal of Honor on a visit. The metal now is in Washington D.C.. If you a hiker there is a downward trail leading to a nature preserve with a nice bridge walk. Located behind this house. At trails end you will discover another reason why Theodore loved this location A beautiful shoreline with stunning views of Cold Spring Harbor. It is best to walk to the Old Orchard museum from the main house because it has limited parking. There is also a short movie on Theodore’s life. This museum is a great compliment to the Sagamore Hill National Park. It is very kid friendly. There are restrooms. And places to sit.
