Went to spice diner for Aftar All you can eat buffet on Sunday. The reservation was smooth, and I found a table, luckily. I have not been to this place before so was going with low expectations. Seating is small with 10-12 tables and maybe 50-70approx seats. The ambiance is good. As soon as we entered, we are welcomed by the staff, who are very courteous. 5/5 for customer service. Looks like it is owned and run by a family. Fillings were warm and ample. Nothing looks microwaved or old. They have a few Chinese options as well, which I did not find in others. Even the manager/staff was serving rooh afzah and dates to tables at the time of Aftar. Tea was not included, but we tried later. “This restaurant is extremely small and intimate. The food is simply beyond words for me, they present such a wild array of different flavors for each dish. Everything that touched our table was a treat. I cannot recommend this place enough. If I did have any complaints, they usher you out of there immediately, upon bill payment. Given it's size, I guess that is to be expected.”

“I give it 4 stars due to location and cleanliness. For a motel they are very nice and front desk is always helpful and informative. They don't rush you when your stay is up they give you a good interval between calls to see if you would like a longer stay or need assistance from them. If anything extra is needed in the room they provide no problem and fast. Parking lot is extremely small so watch your side view mirrors and doors when parking and go very slowly”

“The best way to put it is, it felt like nacho mama invited us to her home and cooked us lunch. The meal tasted fresh and home made. The atmosphere felt friendly and inviting, as you can see in our lovely picture 😂. Oh, and the bathroom was CLEAN. We ordered the Mama's ribs, nachos and the a la plancha. All were very good. Nacho Mama and her staff were attentive and friendly, always making sure we were being taken care of. Truly a great experience both taste wise and customer service. If I'm ever in the area, I'll stop by again for another bite. I would recommend. 👍”

“It’s not an easy decision to move a parent out of their home to assisted living but at some point, it’s the best decision and The Bristal in Jericho is the place to be. We moved our mom there. She was very hesitant (like your parent might be) and thought we were “putting her away” but we weren’t. We were just moving her to an apt in a place that had everything she needed…a wellness center, library, dining service with choices you can’t believe, an outdoor pool where it’s so relaxing to sit outside, arts and crafts, beauty parlor, day trips, movie theater, cafe socials and most of all.. the nicest and most caring people that work there who will make your mom or dad feel so welcomed every minute of the day. My mom loves it as do all the residents I speak to. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend you do your research but my guess is that you will choose The Bristal in Jericho.”

You see the beautiful bar and then walk past the fish tanks, but these are not your typical tanks for display. These are your fresh fish tanks. As I said you get what you pay for and fresh is what you get when you order the fresh fish of the day or the king crab legs.
