“Dr. Gadkar saved me this weekend. I was visiting the area for our daughter's wedding when I bit into some food and my tooth cracked. I had to be at the rehearsal dinner in a few hours, but I had to find a dentist to give me an emergency root canal. I started going through the phone book immediately, but most of the dentists were closed on Thursday and of those that were open, it was close to 5 and they wouldn't take me. I begged one receptionist to please call the dentists on their cell's due to the circumstances, but it fell on deaf ears. I did find one compassionate dentist who did see me, but when she realized that there was an inlay involved, she did not feel comfortable doing the work which I appreciated because that could have been more of a disaster. I was on my way to the hospital when I got a call from one of the staff at the Tarrytown House Estate telling me that Dr. Gadkar was willing to stay behind and help me. He took me immediately and was not only able to do the root canal, but he was able to put an emergency crown in with a post so that I could get through the rest of the weekend and enjoy my daughter's wedding without a temporary which could have come out. It took hours of work, but he did it and I never had any problems nor any pain whatsoever. I was even able to make the tail end of the rehearsal dinner. As if that wasn't enough, he emailed me my Xray with a complete explanation of what he did on which tooth and a full rundown of what was still needed so my local dentist can take it from here. If I lived in the Tarrytown area, there is no question that this would be the dentist for me. Not only is Dr. Gadkar a highly skilled professional, but he has a big heart. He was leaving to celebrate his own special birthday that night, but he held off his plans so that I could enjoy mine. Happy Belated Birthday Dr. Gadkar, and may success follow you wherever you go.
