“This is my CVS. It is close and convenient for me to shop. I always get coupons in the mail and online so shopping is usually extremely affordable if not downright amazing. They usually have whatever I need. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I go there all the time. CVS has a new health and healing products line, Live Better. I love it and highly recommend it. Myndaily favorite is the Black Elderberry Gummies.”

“Didn't plan on joining immediately, but after trying it out, I was sold. The first thing that I loved about the gym was the locker rooms. I've never showered at a gym unless I had to because I would always just use my home shower...but in this case, the shower was far nicer than my home shower. In fact, the whole locker room is incredible. It's a better locker room than you'll find in any country club, health club/spa, and I thought the shower was nicer than most hotels' too. What got me next was the people at this gym. Since it's located in Locust Valley and the membership is at a more premium price point ($79/mo. for 1 person as of 12/24/2017), nobody in there is going to give you a problem, and you'll probably never get into a fight over the squat rack—I can't say the same thing about other gyms I've worked out at. The most important thing to me though was the customer service. The whole time there, Tommy, one of the owners, treated me like a good friend, despite having just met him. He was very welcoming and answered all my questions honestly about the gym. He knows his business and his craft, and he's the kind of person you want running a gym, not some guy from corporate who doesn't even live in New York or understand the needs of his clients (like one of the commercial gyms in Glen Cove). Overall, the treatment of clients at F.I.R.M. is far superior to that of the gym's competitors—other premium health clubs—Lifetime and Equinox. If you have any doubts about joining F.I.R.M., I recommend you give them a call and ask for a guest pass for prospective members. Then, you'll see what changed my mind and got me to sign up on the spot. Also, I should mention they do offer open gym during all open hours (some gyms in the area don't), and as of writing, they're open 365 days a year (this was a huge plus for me).”
