This place is alright. I knew it was a tourist trap going in but I was craving a cannoli and didn’t feel like going all the way down to little Italy for one so this did the job. I’d you’re comparing to Mike’s pastry or Modern Pastry you’ll be very disappointed. Not only is it more expensive but smaller and less fresh. Also they skimp on the chocolate chips like crazy
The rainbow cake is good but nothing different from any other bakery taste wise. I only tried the rainbow cake and cookies but other than looking very eye catching the flavors are good but not great to me at least. They have a reusable Carlos bakery bag for 3.25 if you prefer also. I personally prefer going to the whole foods bakery over going here but I would recommend them.
I ordered a few desserts. Very pricey but you get Times Square pricing. The location was very busy even when they were about to close at midnight. Lots of desserts to choose from I loved the pineapple cheesecake. It was delicious!
This was my first time ordering from this place. I order it all the way from New York, i live in a different state. I was very exited to give a try. The cake arrived intact, and on time. I ordered the rainbow layers cake. It look cute and very clean. Perfectly made.
I did however dislike the fact that it was small and pricey. Although most places have high prices now, it was worth it. The style, appearing is very mesmerizing. I think is totally worth it. For a special occasion.
