I really appreciated the one-on-one communication Abe Mor provided during their appraisal process. I was able to access them quickly by email and phone. The dealings are not automated but rather in person like traditional ways of doing business. These people seem to understand the important nuance of relating to customers who value their personal effects and making that extra effort to connect. The offers are also solid, in my case +84% of the market commodity value for my jewelry, about 5% higher than most offers from precious metal recyclers in the US and well over 50% higher than any local jewelry store or pawn shop offering. If you want a higher rate of return then you'll have to consign at a reputable shop and wait.

The offer process is quite reciprocal. Assuming you know what you have, you give them an honest and accurate description and pictures of your gold jewelry. They give you a competitive offer based on your information. If you accept they send you a fully insured Fed Ex shipping label. There are no "kits" in this process, you have to provide the shipping materials and its your responsibility to pack it well. Securely affix their label to your package and drop it off at the main Fed Ex receiving in your area. When Abe Mor receives your jewelry for final assay and it is what you say it is, you can expect their offer to stand. If you agree they send you the check, otherwise they return your jewelry with no further obligations for either party. Factor start to finish time is about 10 business days. This process is somewhat longer than the automated offerings of many metals recyclers but the personal interaction and value return is a respect that is well worthy.

TL;DR: I like the way they do business and value my stuff. I will come back and do business with them again in the future.
