Thank you so much Henry and Mary for the most wonderful experience on 12/28. My family and I really had a blast. Henry was full of insights about the Park and surrounding area. He did a fantastic job of narrating the ride. The carriage was clean, and provided a blanket which we really didn’t need with the warm weather that evening, but used anyway. There were many beautiful stops with many pictures taken…Henry was awesome with that as well. The girls loved Mary the horse, and rightfully wanted to take her back home with them. We just had a magical time in Central Park. Highly highly recommend.

In a city where next to nothing is relaxing, this was a wonderful treat. Our ride was top notch with much credit to our driver, Tommy and his horse, Mary. Tommy is incredibly knowledgeable about the park and it’s rich history. He has a subtle gift for storytelling and created a nostalgic experience that we won’t soon forget. His sweet demeanor and lovely Irish accent made us enjoy our time with him more than the ride itself.

Booking online in advance was a great decision. I wouldn’t have wanted to navigate through the pushy sales people circling the park entrance. The directions to find our carriage were just right.

We arrived early and easily found our carriage by the explanation and picture of what to look for and where to find them. Thank you for explaining because there were many carriages and we are tourists to NYC! We boarded as soon as we got there and Robert was our guide with his horse Venus! Robert was fantastic as he was very informative and gave us tons of information on the park and the movies filmed there. He was very kind to our handicapped daughter and let her give Venus a carrot! It was chilly out but we were warm under a cozy blanket. My only regret is that we couldn’t go longer. We will definitely be back to the city and hope to meet up with Robert and Venus again to hear more stories. Top notch service and will be back again!

What a wonderful experience, and great memory. We truly enjoyed our carriage ride, and would definitely suggest this company to anyone interested in seeing Central Park in a unique way. NYC Horse Carriages was great about keeping in contact with us, and sent several reminders via text message to confirm our tour and instructions for where & when to report.
Our carriage driver Christine was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. She provided great history and pop-culture references about the park and the sites visited. She even took some nice photos of us during the stop at Cherry Hill, and let us feed our horse Billy.

We had such an amazing experience! Our driver Matt was fantastic. He pointed out different buildings and landmarks, shared the history of the area, gave us some great tips on where to eat and took several awesome photos for us! The communication was great from start to finish, directions to the pick-up area were spot on and we were able to start our ride ahead of schedule. Blankets were provided to keep us nice and cozy and we even got to feed Nick some carrots at the end of the ride! I just cannot say enough good things about this company and our experience! This was a 5 star check on my NYC bucket list! Thank you Matt and the rest of the NYC crew!!!
