Central Park Volleyball Courts

Sand all up in my shoes, but otherwise pretty cool, a bit of a walk from the station but not that much.

Two beautiful beach volleyball courts in middle of Manhattan and there are trees near by that can provide shades during certain time of the day.

Cons
- Far from the bathrooms (like really far)
- Limited Courts and gets crowded
- The fences are too low so you have to chase the ball if it goes over the fence

The volleyball courts have two stable nets, large space, and has sand to play on. Great for a few games and is inviting enough to have people join in on your game if you want. Would recommend going when it’s warm out because the sand can get a little cold and hard to stand in after a while. But overall a great court.

I've been playing here for 5 years now and just love the great vibes at the park. I usually play at 6am to get consistent games before work. The park is full of joggers and unleashed dogs in the morning which I personally love! Who doesn't love dogs..
