  Alison is an amazing tutor. She has decades of experience and it shows; her knowledge of the subject, her extensive trove of teaching and practice materials, and her ability to connect with my son and keep him engaged really impressed me. My son has been a strong student but asked for a tutor after his first Honors Chem test. Once he starting meeting with Alison he was once again confident and felt well prepared for every test. Alison was a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend her.

  Alison was a fantastic tutor for my daughter. She is passionate about chemistry and has the ability to describe difficult chemistry concepts in a very simple way. She has an ease of communication with students to make it seem easy and approachable. Alison always comes to each session with practice problems and materials and makes herself available outside tutoring sessions. She cares about the success of her students and always goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her.

  Alison is an inspiring teacher. My daughter, who attended an independent school, worked with her on both her regular course work and to prepare for the Chem SAT II subject test. She loved working with and learning from Alison, who presented new material with clarity and passion, and clarified confusing material to make it understandable. Her love of Chemistry, as a discipline and in practice, is infectious. My humanities-oriented child emerged from tutoring sessions with determination and enthusiasm.
  
  My daughter was successful in her academic work, ending the year with A in Honors Chemistry; scored 790 on the Chem SAT II; and will attend Yale University in the fall.

  Alison is an excellent and extremely competent chemistry tutor. She communicates directly with your child to help them reach their goals. She provides supplemental material and gentle encouragement. She is 109% reliable and I whole heartedly recommend her.
