  I've been going to Jean Romano's barber shop for over 10 years when I moved to the neighborhood in 2012. I've long since moved out, but I still go back to get my haircut from Jacob. Jacob is a wonderful barber and does a professional job at an affordable price. He is friendly to clients and the staff has a ton of experience cutting different hairstyles. I would highly recommend this barber shop to anybody either living in the area or visiting the neighborhood and in need of a quick, affordable but high quality haircut.

  When I first moved to the UES I had tried two other barber shops before going to Jean Romano. I have been going to them for six years now, as they are very careful and thorough, and take pride in their work. Truly skilled professionals with high attention to detail.
  As a regular, they very quickly get to know your haircut and will make sure you get the right cut every time. They are always very friendly and will treat you like family. A neighborhood staple - I would highly recommend.

  This place is the best! Jacob does a great time - every time. Consistent. Affordable. Super friendly environment. Good for adults but also for the little ones. I moved out of town after using Jacob for 9 years and come back and get my haircut whenever I can. Nobody is as good.

  Jacob and Solomon really know what they’re doing. I get my haircut here each month and I receive consistent high-quality and personalized service every time. They even remember my preferences without having to ask. I’m extremely satisfied with this business and would recommend their service to anyone. Best barbershop on the UES!

  Impeccable haircut every time and Jacob is world class barber and person. Been coming here since I moved to New York almost three years ago. I have since moved away from the location but come back for my haircuts because they’re that good! Would highly recommend!
