Good spot for lunch time, dependable and simple high quality sandwiches. Good selection of can/bottle beer, and really friendly service. We’ll be back again!
Best fried chicken I have ever had in my entire life (and I was born in the ‘50s!). Incredibly moist and sweet on the inside and crispy on the outside while not greasy at all. Great service as well. A 10 on the scale of 1 to 5!
I had dinner here for my birthday and I have to say, the food was nothing short of amazing. For starters, we ordered calamari, meatballs, and latkes for appetizers. The calamari was crispy on the outside and very tender, the meatballs were delicious, especially the sauce, and finally, being a gentile, I haven't had much latkes in my lifetime but these were freaking awesome with just the right amount of crispiness. As for the entrees, the eggplant parmesan is probably my favorite version of this dish and is without a doubt better than the Italian restaurants I've been to and that's coming from someone who grew up in NJ where Italian American cuisine is a dime a dozen. My girlfriend ordered the short ribs and yes, they are as good as the photos look. Portions were more than enough to fill you up.
The restaurant has a nice modern, family friendly vibe. On top that the owner was super nice and accommodating. I highly recommend going here if you're ever in the Upper East Side.
Very friendly staff. It is a good spot for a casual dinner. The food is nice, tastes good but nothing extremely delicious. I had a salmon and was okay. The potpie tastes like homemade food, which means comfort food. I recommend the fried cauliflower and sliders for appetizer.
The place is small with limited seatings.
