The food is absolutely wonderful. I had the Boston lettuce salad (best salad I’ve ever tasted) incredibly fresh, tons of flavor. We also had the sashimi appetizer. Again, tons of flavor. Each bite was unique. For our entrees, my boyfriend had the sea bass (I’m not a big mushroom lover, however the large cooked mushroom on the plate was very good as was the fish). I had the aged New York strip. Medium rare. It was good, but my least favorite of everything we tried. We finished with the strawberry sundae, I can’t even begin to describe this! This is probably my 6 or 7th time visiting NYC, I am so bummed it’s taken me this long to find this place.

The only issue we had, and was totally forgivable bc the food was so good-
We sat in the lounge area. Totally recommend. It’s cozy , romantic, and private. We ordered our first round of drinks with our apps, they took some time to make it to us. It is our second round of drinks that was disappointing. We ordered them when we ordered our dinner entrees. Our drinks did not show up until we finished our desert. It took a while for waiter to finally communicate what the problem was. What was also unsettling, was that the entire time we waited on our drinks we watched the waiter wait hand and foot on another group in the lounge area. Now, had the food not blown my socks off, I would have been fuming because it was obvious they were prioritizing this large group over us. It should be said our two drinks were dirty martinis. 2 dirty martinis.
The waiter took care of our desert to make up for our drinks. I think I would have taken care of the 2 martinis and that would have been a better apology.

Fantastic! Beautiful restaurant and excellent service and best of all the food is something you need to experience! Absolutely would recommend! Can't wait to go back soon.

Everything on the menu was delicious, so we ordered almost everything. I'd give it a second chance. You guys get five stars!

Service was as amazing as the food! Bartender was supper friendly and helpful with drink selection! Will definitely be coming back!

Okay! That was unexpectedly, absolutely delicious! Who knew that in the midst of a pandemic I would find my new favorite downtown restaurant! Thank you for offering an extraordinary palate enticing dinner!
