  The second best park in Manhattan. The water views are nicer if course. And it's cooler on a hot day. In the spring the Cherry and Apple blossoms are excellent.

  One of the city's most beautiful green belts straddling a strip of land on the Upper West Side overlooking the Hudson. Come here for a quick getaway from it all.

  What an absolutely beautiful park! There is honestly nothing better than a post-rainstorm walk in Riverside, especially in the spring. The flowers were magnificent and only the most intrepid walkers were out.

  Very nice place to experience open space. The weather is experienced with a natural feel because you are near water from the Hudson, and you see open sky in all directions. It is a state park with a slight flavor of upstate NY. Many facilities for different sports and hobbies. If you just want to feel the sun, even better.

  Practically in my backyard. Love walks along the riverfront and the various cafes for casual dining in the warmer months. Also great dog parks. Free kayaking in the summer too. Love this place.
