(February 15, 2020, 8:39 pm)The Beast is a fantastic boat-ride to and back from the Statue of Liberty. The boat goes very fast so it gets windy, but it’s never very “bumpy”. The boat does get some air at times which is really fun, but it’s a comfortable ride. The crew is friendly and they even take pictures of you and your family for you on the boat, using your cellphone if you would like. You do not get to get out of the boat to tour the statue, so keep that in mind if you are looking to do that. Overall it’s a great boat-ride and I’d highly recommend it!

(August 19, 2019, 11:49 pm)We had a wonderful time riding The Beast. I do have to clarify that if people DO NOT like to get wet...don't take this ride.
It plays upbeat music while speeds and stops and soaks every person on the boat. Put your cell in a ziplock bag or waterproof bag. Get an extra set of clothes in a plastic bag to change after the ride. Wear shoes that can get wet. You will be soaked at the end of the ride.
It stops to take pics of Lady Liberty and provides a short trivia re: liberty statue.
It is a ride for thrill seekers. -

(June 24, 2019, 4:39 pm)I’m a water man, that said I’ve been on a lot of boat rides in my lifetime scenic, leisure and straight thrill and this ones hard to beat. 40 min on the water high speed with moments of downtime to take in the the beauty of the New York City skyline and then some. Between myself and my 6 yr old boy we can honestly say this is one attraction you do not want to pass up! High marks for the Beast!

(June 18, 2019, 7:32 pm)Riding the beast is an ofter overlooked kids and family proof attraction! Don't expect a deep dive into New York's history but enjoy the ride on the water while you are enjoying the New York skyline. When I took my son for a ride on the Beast, he was five years old. He absolutely enjoyed it. He thought is was the greatest possible thing to do in New York City! When you get there, you may see a sign that lists the rules and provides some warnings. I know this doesn't look very inviting but don't be scared. It's really fun for the whole family!
