The best time to go is in the evening around maybe 6:30pm over the summer so that you can have a great view of the sun set. Simply amazing -

Lockers are provided with locks to store your items.Kayaking for two are available also kayaks for single riders. Staff is very friendly and want you to be safe and have fun. I’ve been here twice already and I will be back because it’s a fun activity to do.

If you keep going north bound from here you will get to go to Riverside Park along with spectacular views of the skyline and amazing sunset across the Hudson River on Jersey side. When you say you are done seeing everything in New York City it always manages to surprise.

Paddling is suitable for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Time on the water is limited to 20 minutes to allow everyone to have a turn. Be sure to dress accordingly as you will get wet in the boats. There are lockers for items you would like to keep dry, and changing rooms are also available at Pier 96.
