The Pier was very clean and the view was spectacular. Its one of those moments, that you need to experience it in person. I suggest arriving during a sunset.

Well this is a classic venue, so peaceful and chill at night with awesome views of the west side of the city and jersey, great for dates, picnics or even to grab a bite or beer. Close to transportation of every type, plenty of bars, restaurants and night or daytime shopping culture.

This timeless legendary spot has so much history walked on it, slept on it, danced on it and talked on it. These Christopher Street piers were a home for the lgbtq plus community especially in the early 80s all the kids and the houses would hang out here and dance here and some of the people that didn't have families would sleep here. Also it became a meeting place. With that said, in present-day it is a wonderful place to visit during the day like out in the summertime on the grass and just think while you're by yourself, or go with a group of friends have lunch or a picnic. They do have a food place there now that serves hot and cold food. The view of the Hudson River and New Jersey is right there and beautiful, every time I am in the West village I always stop by the Christopher Street piers when I'm alone and just reflect and think and look at the beautiful scenery. All New Yorkers new to the city I urge you to visit this historic place. People with families bring your children . People visiting from out of state this is a must-see for you great photos to be taken and memories to be had.

Beautiful views along the Hudson. Nearby bathrooms with heaters are clutch!
