Our 3-course breakfast was fantastic. No stone left unturned - multiple pure maple syrup options, french press coffee, and some fantastically prepared entree servings.
As for the rest of the weekend, it was amazing. The passion and meticulousness shows in everything from the 3-course breakfast to the charm & decor of the residence to the keypad locks. The service and food were great, the accommodations were impeccably clean and modern while still retaining the charm of the original farm house. It's a great property that will be enjoyed by many for years to come.
We will be back next fall. -

The charming house filled us with a warm/cozy vibe and not to mention they make a delicious breakfast! I truly felt taken care of from the moment we walked in until the moment we left! Hudson Valley Rose has my highest recommendation ❤️ Thank you for making our stay one to remember !

(June 19, 2018, 2:15 pm)We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Hudson Valley Rose stone house in the Ashley room (named after Laura Ashley who used to own this property, very cool!). The stone house is beautifully decorated, preserving all the history and charm while pampering guests with modern and sparkling clean amenities. The mattress and bedding were really comfortable too which was very important to me. I appreciated all the thoughtful touches they had – different kinds of magazines for your perusal, a great selection of games, and a generous variety of complimentary snacks and drinks. Jace and Doug made delicious 3 course breakfasts every morning. Their attention to detail and their passion for the inn is clearly evident. They are also very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the vicinity. I enjoyed our time there and would definitely be coming back.

* The check-in process was very flexible, Doug our host reached out before our arrival and was very accommodating as our arrival time continually changed because of traffic delays.
* The private cottage we stayed in was idyllic; very romantic my girlfriend loved it. * Doug and his wife also worked to seamlessly to provide a wonderfully prepared 3 course breakfast tailored around our schedule every morning.
* Doug was super helpful with recommendations on things to do and places to eat at.
Hudson Valley Rose is a quiet and beautiful Bed & Breakfast, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway - I will definitely visit again.
