The Sentinel of Port Jervis

I was looking for an Assisted Living for my mother where she would be happy and have many activities. I set up an appointment after seeing all the great reviews. When I called I got an immediate response from Laura and we set up a date for a tour. Her kindness and professionalism is what made me decide before I got there that this could be the perfect place for my mother. Laura made me feel comfortable.Making this decision for my mother has has been the hardest , but the right decision. During the tour I couldn't stop smiling , and Laura was absolutely warm and answered all my questions. I loved the brightness, seeing the staff engaged with the clients , and I observed a joyful environment. The decision has been made to make this my mother's new home. If you are searching look no further and make sure you ask for Laura who is so knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have.

Not enough stars to click for my visiting experience this past Saturday with Laura . She was very informative, professional, warm and friendly . As she took me on the tour I was so amazed in how clean the facility is and how outgoing and friendly the residents are including the other workers . I told my mother what an amazing place the sentinel is so it looks like a positive for my mom .

I found the Sentinel in Port Jervis while looking for an assisted living facility for my sibling, and could not be more happy with the uplifting energy of the home, as a result of the hardworking, professional staff who take such great care of the residents and the home. The staff are very positive, caring, and diligent in making sure the home is clean, organized, well-run, and beautifully decorated, and also ensure that complete care of the residents is their top priority. My initial contact with the Sentinel included meeting Admissions Director Carolyn Perito,, an incredibly warm, proactive and engaged person who is clearly devoted to the residents and her important work at the home. I could not have been more impressed with her knowledge and understanding of the needs and care required by assisted living residents, and I am very grateful for the wonderful assistance she provided me throughout the admission process. I am so glad to have found the Sentinel, and met incredible staff like Carolyn and many others, who ensure the residents enjoy a beautiful, nurturing, secure, and happy home!

Laura, Jennifer, Carolyn, Kathy, Seth and all the wonderful staff welcomed our Mulberry House crew with such warmth and delight. The facilities were great and so nice to see such happy residents as the age still have the opportunity to engage with neighbors and staff. Families can feel at ease with loved ones who reside there!
