White Bar trailhead provides an easy access to a variety of Harriman landmarks:
- Car Pond Mountain is less than a mile southwest via White Bar trail
- Stahahe High Pint is half a mile north on unmarked Island Pond woods road, then half a mile sharp left on blue trail
- Black Rock is half a mile east via Nurian trail
Island Pond, ranger hut ruins, Boston Mine, Bald Rocks shelter and Lemon Squeezer are all within 2-4 miles
On weekends make sure to get there early - parking lot gets filled really fast.
