(October 1, 2018, 9:44 am)We were invited by our very good friends to join them for dinner at the Chateau. Our drive was over an hour and worth every minute. The service and food was exceptional. I had duck and it was perfect. I'm used to a breast filet; this is served as a complete roasted half and it was cooked perfectly.
My wife had rack of lamb and again better than expected.
We will return in a few weeks to try other entrees that we were told were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for service, food and ambiance.
I should mention the acoustic guitarist that made the occasion a few points higher. -

(June 14, 2018, 11:01 am)This place is amazing. The decor inside is beautiful, dark lighting, dark wood, very historic. The food was very fresh and delicious. Good size portions. They even surprised our table with Spaetzle which was amazing! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place. I think we found our favorite spot.

(April 20, 2018, 1:16 pm)We've been to Chateau Hawthorn a few times now for dinner, and we've tried both the regular dinner menu and the price fix special they offer on Wednesday & Thursday (the price fix special is great & very reasonably priced!). The food is always absolutely outstanding, and everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. The restaurant itself is lovely, and the ground are beautiful. The waitstaff is friendly, warm, and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!
