  This is a great spot to end a long day of hiking. Basically the first restaurant off the end of the yellow trail. Serves delicious home made food quickly. Nice selection of beers on tap. Catch the golden hour on the patio.

  1st time there.. Food was good. Service was a bit slow and place wasn't packed. Workers were very polite and helpful

  Fun atmosphere, fun people
  Loud and joyous, the hubby and I had a great evening out. Diverse group in terms of age and culture. Only minus was long wait for orders, but the place was so crowded you expect a wait.

  First visit to Whistling Willie's. Decor and ambiance sort of pub like. Let me talk about the burgers. OMG. They are huge and delicious. Possibly the best burger I've eaten. Perfectly grilled, with a slight char that makes this burger amazing! My father- in- law ordered short ribs. He ate more food at that meal than I've ever seen him eat. The portions are huge. Two people could easily split any meal. The only bad thing... they had no mashed potatoes, but the food quality was so good that 5 stars are still warranted.

This isn't a fancy place, by any stretch, but the food is solid, the menu is extensive, service is friendly, and they place seasoned popcorn on the table when you first sit I would hate to see the Whistling Willie's establishment become the restaurant/bar it is on the road to becoming.
