  I love the store and coming here for many years even before it moved to the new location. However, I cannot help but notice that foot traffic even during a peak season is not as robust as other stores or used to be. I think it is hugely due to the lack of visibility. To be specific the beautiful Red door. As beautiful as they are, it is stopping people from coming in. I wish you put glass insert. Seems silly, but I swear it will increase the business by a lot. This suggestion is coming from place of love.

  Nice store to browse for local products as well as eclectic ones. The name of the store is not a good description of the store. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

  Walking into the Cold Spring General Store is like being transported back in time...a time where local store owners knew your name and stocked the store with everything you could ever want and desire! Owners Craig and Deanna are so friendly and welcoming...you almost feel like you are in their home. The curated collections of gift, home and pantry are locally sourced and have HEART! I cannot say enough great things about this store...I have purchased everything from luxury throws to gourmet cooking books to my favorite late night snack (bjorn popcorn). This store is a must visit if you are stopping by to charming downtown Cold Spring, NY.
