  Beautiful park; worth a visit. The available parking is minimal so if you don't get a spot you may have to hike from town. From the parking lot, you hike down to a trail head. The trail takes you up over a rocky mound and down to the board walk in the marsh.

  Nice secluded place to unwind and relax. Great views. Also if you walk along the road in to opposite direction from the marsh you will find a nice waterfall we’re locals like to swim. :)

  Small but beautiful. Trails run along the Hudson River giving you gorgeous views up and down. September we saw a Bald Eagle fishing. We also saw a small flock of Blue Jays harassing a pair of Kestrels. Along came a Peregrine Falcon who shooed away all the birds in the vicinity. Further down we saw Great Blue Herons. Exciting to see a Belted Kingfisher catching his lunch! Well marked trail out to the marsh -- boardwalk over the marsh loops around and includes a canoe landing. I'll come again.

  Park in the 8 designated spaces and then walk down a steep gravel driveway to the nature center. Then a brief but steep and rugged ascent and descent over a Rocky point will bring you to a network of walkways over an extensive freshwater marsh. Besides great birdwatching, there are views to West Point across the Hudson River. Last time, we saw people skydiving onto the campus.

  Great place to spend a few hours of quiet kayaking. It is absolutely serene. There are not too many people, so even in the weekend it is never crowded. The kayaking is easy,doesn't require special training or prior skills. It could be extremely hot during the day as there is hardly any shade you can hide away from the sun. The starting and ending times are quite restricted by the water level, so check in advance to know when can you enter and what time you can exit. Once you are in you are locked in by the water, so you won't be able to get out before at least 3-4 hours. This is not bad at all, it just requires planning
