“I stopped at this station a few years ago on my motorcycle for fuel and Bill, who may be the owner, or just a really great guy, came out to talk to me because he rides a bike too. A nice gas station, does car repairs, sell tires and lots of usual stuff. A great location just north of the end of Route 684 as it turns into Route 22. The next time I needed a NYS motorcycle inspection I went there again, and Bill got me in and out in 10 minutes. Today I went back with a bike and he did the same, and then even did my other bike later in the same day, all that without an appointment (which I do not recommend, because this is a pretty busy place and they would appreciate an appointment. They fit me in as a favor, for which I am happy. Lots of cold drinks, coffee, rolls and snacks, etc. Go there, get some gas and say hi to Bill and the ladies who take care of the front of the store.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. Dave and Jim are great, the yard is full of old, American iron and if you make friends, they might let you pick the parts yourself. This is the kind of junkyard that you wouldn't think would exist, especially minutes from stuffy Westchester. It's a true field of dreams for the vintage auto enthusiast. It's a shame that the bike path was built through a section of it and they had to crush some great classics, but there are plenty of parts cars to help you restore your old car. Just be careful if you're allergic to poison ivy.”
