“Blu is a local favorite of ours. My husband and I travel extensively and are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy dining in wonderful restaurants. Blu delivers that same exceptional experience right in our neighborhood. Their food is consistently delicious with high quality ingredients and the wait staff is very attentive and welcoming. We have pretty much tried most of their menu and have always felt delighted with the high quality they deliver. In addition to the food, their sauces are absolutely amazing as are their cocktails and wine menu. Blu also offers a perfect location with breathtaking and fabulous views of Lake Mahopac. In the summer, we enjoy coming into the restaurant on our boat. In the winter, the roaring fire creates a warm and cozy ambiance. We absolutely LOVE their menu so much that we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception there this past October and could not have asked for a more perfect event!! Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was and how well the staff managed and serviced our party. We had a cocktail hour, sit down formal dinner, open bar with well over 70 people and their service was absolutely impeccable! The owners, manager and chef meticulously and professionally worked through every detail with us to ensure everything went smoothly to make our event even more memorable and they over delivered!!! They were incredibly accommodating. Valet service also wonderfully managed the large volume of cars we had. I highly recommend Blu for any dining experience, happy hour and any special events (personal or business) you may be planning. We are looking forward to our next delicious meal there!”

A few of mine are at the Putnam Hospital location and I don't want to move too far away and not be able to see those doctors because that's how good they are. Not easy to find doctors like them! Wait time can be a bit long for some but if the doctor is really good they're worth it. Take it from someone who has seen many, many doctors over the last 10 years!”

“Outstanding artists and human beings. I had the lovely opportunity to work with Nick. I approached him with a uniquely intricate piece and he acknowledged that it would be somewhat of a challenge but he was confident it could be done. We sat for close to 8hrs straight. During that time, everyone in the shop got to truly know one another. Great conservations, laughs, and even more serious discussions occurred. In the end, the piece Nick did on my leg was perfect. I still can’t believe how accurate it is while still possessing some traits that are unique to his style without changing the original piece in anyway whatsoever. I asked him to use his expertise when necessary and he followed through with perfection. After a long day for both us, I said my goodbyes to a new group of friends I felt I made during my time in their space. When I went to my car, the battery was dead and almost every employee came out to help me jumpstart the car for me. They go above and beyond here and the warm and funny sense of community in a small shop like this is what most places are missing. If you are interested in getting some ink, look no further. You won’t be disappointed.”

“We had a very happy experience with Dr. Richard Salas of Northeast Oral surgery at the Carmel office. Our son is autistic and he gets hyper when he has to go to the doctors or dentist. We too as parents were deeply concerned. He had to have two good molars removed because they were growing in the wrong direction. Dr. Salas greeted us with our son in the chair. We explained the situation and he understood right away. He told us and my son what he would do and how he would make it painless. He went through the process and said if any problems arose at any time he would stop the procedure and continue at a later date at the hospital with my son under complete sedation and safety. We agreed and the procedure went off great at his office. The nurses kept us informed all through the process and my son came through with a smile on his face. We could not have been happier for him. I would refer D. Salas to any one with children with handicaps of any sort. Dr. Salas was very kind and smiling and professional. The procedure took a very short time considering two extractions. He stitched the upper and lower gums with dissolving stitches. Our son showed no signs of pain afterwards and was very happy it was so easy for him. He was completely relaxed afterwards and all he could do is talk about how he went through it like a hero. As he is to us. Thank you doctor for your work and your patience and to your staff at Northeast who were all kind and professional. If your child has challenges and has a dental problem I strongly suggest Dr. Salas.”
