(August 27, 2019, 1:24 am)David responded really fast! 5of us got canceled from another school saying they were ‘shorted’ on instructor so we have to fine a new school on that same morning. Been calling a few school. All was a disappointed until we met David. He knows what he s doing. Taught us all what we need to know. Eventho it was really windy and the waves were messy, all 5 of us can stand on the board on that day. (2 were first-timer and 3 were2nd lesson) so hands off to him!!

(August 31, 2018, 9:23 pm)I highly recommend taking a lesson with Sierra Surf School! They will have you standing on the board before your first lesson is over! The team is amazing they are friendly, chill, and very supportive. I took my second lesson with David, and I was riding them waves without any fear. I was so proud of myself and very thankful that David taught me well in the first lesson. I can’t wait for next summer to take more lesson!!

(July 23, 2018, 5:54 pm)Dave is awesome. I felt right at home after only a couple minutes with the Sierra team, even after admitting that the ocean kinda scared me. By the end of my first lesson I was standing on my board and even caught a pretty sweet wave! Will definitely be returning before summer is over.

(July 20, 2018, 7:18 pm)We had such an awesome day surfing with Sierra Surf School! This was definitely the highlight of our NYC trip. The instructors here are all amazing, and very knowledgeable - we knew we were in good hands. Our instructor was Derek (or Darren...sorry, not sure which! ????) and he was awesome and just a really great guy to be around.We were given bracelets at the end, and it was such a nice little token to remember our day. Thanks so much guys!!
