Wonderful park with views of Roosevelt Island, Manhattan and the bridges adjacent. It's a great place to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the view, or skate at the skate park, run around the racetrack or along the waterfront, go fishing or swim at the public pool. There is a Mexican food truck if you're hungry but also there is a restaurant and also a pizzeria if you don't want to bring your own food. Fun for all so definitely check it out
Astoria Park was beautiful tonight. Clean and beautiful. There was an awesome free concert by the rock band Spitfire. Families picnicking, political and environmental activists holding nice events for clean energy and the Rider's Alliance to promote a better Mta. I felt peaceful as I sat on the grass and the lightning bugs flew around, shining a pretty green light. The pool was closed but glowed as night came and looked so clean. The boats were on the East River.it was a beautiful night.
Was not what i expected. My partner and i love to tour the city for site seeing. We have been to many beautiful parks in NYC but this parkis nice to go to if you live in the neighborhood and just want to go for a walk. The bridge views was nice. But there is only so much see and enjoy. Its a small park.
Pool, skatepark, track, soccer, bike path and views!!!
