Nice school, has a very diverse group of students of varying age groups. Different then the typical wing chun that you see online and is heavily modified by Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung. After experiencing and researching it, it was a better fit for me compared to the traditional wing chun and feels more structured. Costs are very reasonable if you have the time to commit for the unlimited classes with 4 classes per week. You can train at your own pace. For me it was good incentive to workout and get back in shape though you don’t need to be super athletic for wing chun. Definitely something I’ll do with my sons when they are older.
Thanks Sifu Patrick for explaining physics and stance in the first trial! Great customer service, great space and great mindset circulated. If wing chun is the decision, I will be back.
I just started to train there, but everyone is gr8. The Sifu and my more experienced classmates are always available to help me learn and understand what we are working on. Also it is a really nice facility to train in.
It's really great experience learning Wing Chun here! Everyone here from Sifu Patrick/Alice to my fellow Sihings have been very helpful and great getting to know. The group and partners drills here are great for practicing techniques you've learned and improving upon them. Looking forward to coming back when I'm less busy! 😊
I would recommend anyone with even a vague interest in Wing Chun or martial arts to stop by and take a try out class or even just to talk with Sifu Patrick or Sifu Alice. They are both very knowledgeable and more importantly patient and enthusiastic to help you understand the concepts and improve your new skill set. They are both really great teachers and accommodating to all levels of skill and enthusiasm. The classes are interesting and you get a good workout at your pace. Being in my early 50's this is a bonus because my energy levels vary day to day depending on work. My classmates ages and backgrounds are all different and contribute to the positive class experience. Overall I am very happy the school is open and can see myself a student for a long time.
