J&K Medical Equipment

Back in January, my mom needed home oxygen therapy. We weren’t able to get one from our neighborhood pharmacy. So, the hospital staff recommended that she get a portable oxygen concentrator from J&K Medical Equipment. The problem was that we didn’t have any prior experience using an oxygen machine. But, when I arrived at the store, I was greeted by the owner Frank personally. It was around closing time but Frank was nice and patient enough to give a live hands-on demonstration on how to use the machine, which took at least a good half hour. He didn’t want to let me leave until he made sure I knew how to operate it so that I could in turn show my mom. We’re very satisfied with Frank and Sonia’s professional, courteous and friendly service and attitude. Therefore, I highly recommend J&K Medical Equipment. If you or your friends live in the general vicinity or even a little farther and need medical supplies, please stop by and ask for Frank or Sonya.

First rate service. I found J&K on line when my husband was discharged from rehab. Wanted a "shower chair" for him and hoped this was the answer. The store was closed when I got there, but a sign on the door said "call 718 _________" The gentleman came to the door and answered all my needs. Clearly they know what they are doing in J&K.

We used Frank and his company to change our shower to a walk in shower due to my dad's illness. Frank was honest in his estimate and inital assessment. The work that was done was impeccable. We are very pleased and this has made my dad's life a lot better as he can now shower again. Frank is polite and actually appears to care about his customers. Highly recommend.

I was calling around looking for a wheelchair. Originally no one answered and I did not leave a message. However, Frankie called me back and walked me through the options they had available over the phone. He advised of the hours he would be available and was very accommodating. I sent someone to pick up the wheelchair and he had everything ready and waiting when they arrived. He even called me back to make sure I knew everything was picked up. If I am ever in need of more medical supplies this is going to be my first call.

Found J&K through the internet, made an appointment w/Frank. My husband and I went to their location in Fresh Meadows to look at their medical supplies they had on site. Frank and his staff were very attentive to our needs, he answered all of our questions and was happy to explain everything in detail. If he didn't have the product in store, he could place the order and have it delivered to the store in a timely manner. We were impressed by his knowledge and his honest opinions on what he was selling and didn't push us to purchase anything but was willing to find us the product at the best price. My husband and I ended up buying the item he had in stock and a few weeks later went back to purchase another medical equipment we saw in his store that he had to order. He assembled both items for us and demonstrated in the store how they operated. We would go back to them again to order medical supplies that we would need. Frank and his staff, Dennis, Caesar, Sonia, Debbie, Caren and Carmen are professional and made us feel very comfortable being this was our first experience with them. We definitely would recommend J&K Medical to shop at for medical supplies.
