Really cool space in the upstairs of the renovated TWA terminal. High end food and classy cocktails. Great wine list. Definitely more of a brasserie vibe with buzzy tables and informally dressed staff that were friendly and relaxed. Not cheap though, so bring your wallet.
The space is amazing, the music, the design and pretty much every detail travels you back in time.
Service was excellent. Great views of the terminal. The food was not bad but it wasn’t amazing either, considering the prices. The Crispy Salmon was my favorite. The sorbet had an unusual texture but tasted fine. The citrusy hint of the Caesar salad felt kinda odd. Overall a good experience. I wish there was a 4,5 star option because 4 does not describe my experience very accurately. It wasn’t 5 stars though.
Really wonderful experience. Food was truly fantastic especially the Brussels sprout and kale salad with grainy mustard dressing, meatballs, and roasted cauliflower. Wait staff was attentive and efficient. And the TWA hotel was a fun throwback to earlier times. Music was great. Architecture stands the tests of time. And the exhibits (especially flight attendants designer outfits) were fun to see. Notably, the transition into the JetBlue terminal was a great reminder that much has happily progressed in 60 years to make travel easier. Worth a trip!
