Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy

We just completed our first year at Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy. The staff and administration have been fantastic. I cannot emphasize enough the care and safety measures that were put in place to keep our children safe. In addition, we were delighted with the curriculum and the art and music programs made available. Our son flourished in his first year with DWCA, and we look forward to returning in September.

The school in many ways is showing improvements (curriculum, facilities, etc.) and I hope it keeps moving towards the direction. If you want your child become a testing guru, not the best place to be. It is very competitive around the neighborhood, and many people move in because of it. I believe what we see at Divine Wisdom is more like a safety net, or buffer zone for young children... Out there everyone is overwhelmed by tons of assignments, fast-paced curriculum, testing, testing and testing. At least for the younger ones, as I can't say much about older kids (no experience so far) - I just can't stand kids with phones and tablets 24/7...and this school feels like the last resort. Of course there are many other virtues too. -Cons: Wish we had the pre-k lunch menus for older kids. We need vegetables and fruits, or the alternative at least!
