  Local beach to NYC. Beautiful- easy to get to by bus, ferry or car. Clean and delish local food and drink pop ups are here this summer. Great breeze and water temp cannot be beat right now! Loved my time at Jacob Riis this summer. Will definitely go back. Much closer and less packed than Jones Beach.

  definitely a great park/beach to hang out. they have pricey but good food and drink options. the beach is nice but a little trashy. i'd rather go there and not swim.

  Good beach facility. I would have loved to see it before Sandy. Trucks come up and down raking the sand every so often. Life guard on site only at certain points. Not much for food wise except 1 or 2 restaurant which is pretty pricey.

  Had a amazing time. Stress free and plenty of parking. I went on 1 of the busiest day of the year for the beach Labor day weekend and enjoyed how stress free for everything. Like looking for a area to restrooms. Great place to visit.

  This has to be one of the best beaches I’ve been to in New York City. Clean, quite, and a lot of space. It has a grilling area and other activity areas like basket ball, volleyball etc. The is also a food area that has a variety of options (even vegan) but unfortunately they were closed when I was there. I still don’t go in NYC’s beaches water but by far this one didn’t look so bad so I let the tide on my feet. I would definitely recommend this beach and plan on coming back.
