Greenhouse Cafe

Today between horror shows on a particularly hellacious day I found a few minutes to try to grab some caffeine to get me thru whatever fresh hell was yet to unfold. This was my 1st time in the Greenhouse Cafe & I know there is a God because I made it there just about 20 min before closing. The vibe is chill & relaxing as soon as you walk in. Menu was big & easy to read & the space definitely flowed. Mia the Barista was amazing & Heaven sent on a day like today. I told her it was my 1st time & asked for her reco. As soon as she described the iced Rocket Fuel I actually squealed with joy. When she described this Cafe DuMonde style deliciousness which included my FAVORITE —chicory — my entire day turned around. The coffee was fantastic & the best I’ve had in forever plus Mia was so fun & interesting to chat with for a few minutes. Between the coffee & Mia this place definitely made my day. So looking forward to my next visit & so very glad I wandered in today :)

Love that place! Both food and drinks are amazing. Make sure to try their homemade sourdough waffles and lavender soda. So flavorful! The staff is also super nice and welcoming.

Absolutely loved the drinks (we got the iced rocket fuel and iced tea) and the ambiance. A perfect refreshment to drink while at the beach. The baristas were super friendly as well. I know this won’t be relevant to the review but let me just say it — the baristas were very handsome too!

Love seeing and supporting new places in the Rockaways. I enjoy Ice coffee but gave the Rockaway Special a try and it was great. Looking forward to going back.
