I'm surprised this school is still around.. I went there for 5th and 6th grade back in 1995 and 1996.. the principal was Mr. Zimmerman. He had a twin brother. He sure was old. I remember there wasn't a park behind the school. Just a massive swampy looking field of bush. It looked pretty scary. Sometimes we would see fires on JFK if you looked way yonder. I'd send my daughter here. It was a great school back then.
I adore this school although I don't attend it anymore I love it, I was there at that school since pre-k and the principal there was so nice to me. I graduated this school with principals list and Dean's award and other academic rewards for my graduation and I don't usually visit it that much because they aren't to happy when middle school kids go in the school. But if you live near this area and you are a child or parent, attend the school because it is a very good school.
Great school. Principal treat kids like his own big family. Feels like one big family where everybody help each other. It really takes a village to raise a child and this school - that village.

P.S. 181 Brookfield Elementary School, Sep 25, 2008 : This school is one of the best schools in the world. I went to this school before I went to Georgia. It made me the up and coming lawyer I am now. I go to UGA and just want to thank Mr. Zimmerman for all things he did for my family and charity work. BEST SCHOOL IN ALL OF NEW YORK.
