Dollar Taco

I'll be honest I was surprised how good it was. Torta Poblano was my favorite one. Call instead of using 3rd party apps if you have cash.

I live close by I ordered 3 birria tacos and 2 carne they were actually pretty good with the sauces and the tacos were full

So it's pretty good. It's best to wait for it to cool down before you start chowing down or else is going to get everywhere. Probably why they give you a fork to go with your food. I bought a quesadilla and a dollar taco. The tacos actually $1 and a 12 in quesadilla is splitting the three pieces very big very delicious. However there's a white sauce that they use in the quesadilla that I was a little iffy about it almost hits like mayonnaise but it definitely wasn't mayonnaise maybe it was just a texture it's kind of sweet. They also gave you three side sauces; one sort of cream sauce white cream that isn't mayonnaise but definitely is in sour cream, one red sauce That's mildly spicy and one birthday sauce that was very spicy. The chicken was made very well cheese was nice and delicious the sauce is just what kind of threw me for a little bit that I wasn't too crazy about. The quesadillas $8 although they do have a mini three quesadilla combo option for $10.49 with rice and beans. The dollar Taco was actually really good it needed no salt no nothing the chicken was well marinated even I was it was shredded with the simple bits of lettuce it was very good. Definitely something to buy on the side.

This was my first time ordering from Dollar Taco. I ordered the Steak Tostada, The burrito, and Birria Tacos. Everything was pretty good, out of all the things we ordered I feel like the tostada had the most flavor. The portion sizes are very fair to the price. I could only finished one Taco and I ate the other one for breakfast with some eggs. Delicious. And I love that the food was made fresh. It’s definitely not a fast food place, so don’t expect your food in one minute. They also take credit cards, in addition to cash which is also a plus.
The only two things that I would recommend them improving would have to be the flavor, and the decor of the store.
They use a lot of really good ingredients. You can see that they don’t skimp on fresh ingredients, especially in the birria sauce. However there is just a need for some more seasoning, it is just so bland. My husband also agreed with me on this point and he had the burrito.
Lastly, the inside of the restaurant really needs to be revamped. It still holds the same dingy tables and flooring as the Chinese restaurant that was there before. I think this place could be a really nice taco spot with a little bit of design engineering. I mean who wants to look at a mural of the great wall of China while they are eating their tacos?

Anyway, I think that I would eat there again but I would just have to add some seasoning to the bland flavors they have.

The tacos were pretty good. I would definitely get it again. The service was fast and tacos were made fresh on the spot.
I didn’t order a ton of food because my husband and I wanted to try it out! Highly recommend the steak and birria. We will be back!
