Taiwanese street food such as pork blood cake and Taiwanese popcorn chicken along with other popular dishes found at night markets are on the menu. Staples such as beef noodle soup, pork chop rice and stinky tofu too! I think this place gives Mama Lee as the best Taiwanese restaurant in the area!”

“This place is great when they are open. Owner spends half her time here and the other half in Taiwan. The food is awesome and the prices are good. Especially considering that you are not expected to tip on your bill total. This is one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in Queens. It just stinks when you want to go and they are closed. “The food court here is much better than food after security in Terminal 5. The halal guys stand was pretty good - not as good as midtown, but good for an airport. The panini place also had good food that we brought through security no problem. Intelligentsia coffee was excellent. My son loved climbing in the old cars - so fun. The Connie bar in the refurbished plane was great. Nice that the allowed us up to the pool deck to airplane watch for a few minutes. Not sure how long we would have been allowed to stay, we eventually had to leave for our flight.”

We were greeted right when we came in and the owner gave us a little desert pastry to eat when we were deciding on what to get. We ended up getting two massive slices and two bottles of water for only $11.00! After eating at our hotel restaurant and spending $15.00 on a burger this was a pleasant surprise. The pizza was better than anything I could find at home. I would definitely recommend coming down here if you are looking for a spot to eat.”

The most satisfactory aspect is the more than enough portions, for decent price - a fulfilling experience. I would recommend their onion soup (that melted mozzarella on top really made my night, yum). The steak with mashed potato, salmon, beans, and hot chocolate were also delicious. Oh, they served a huge plate of penne pasta - very flavorful. A decent place for enjoying good food for good price, and spending some quality time with family.”

I assumed there would be lettuce/greens in it, but it was primarily chopped tomato, plus a small amount of green bean, shrimp, bell pepper, red onion, and bacon. The steak strips were awesome and a good value as an add-on.”
