“I HIGHLY recommend this funeral home to anyone!! Not only were they professional but they were very empathetic throughout my enter ordeal which I was surprised to see. Other funeral homes that I have come into contact with in the past tend to have staff members that are very desensitized because they’re constantly surrounded by death but both Peter and Karissa were so nice and understanding and helpful. I had to bury my dad back in his country of Nigeria which was not an easy process but this funeral home made things so easy and they kept me posted on all things and I didn’t have to lift a finger. They were very respectful of my culture and would call and text periodical to check in on me to make sure that everything went smoothly for me in Nigeria as well. That was what meant the most to me because once my dad’s body was in Nigeria it was officially out of their hands but they did not see it that way. They actually cared and made sure to let me know that they were there to help in any way they can. If you want to give your loved one a wonderful ceremony and work with a funeral home that genuinely cares then this is the first place I would recommend!! “My hairstylist name is Olga, she is professional kind and caring. My appointment was at 10 got there about 10 minutes early. Greeted by Rosa who asked me to have a seat and offered me coffee. Coffee was served in a tea cup and saucer(very classy). At 10 Olga introduced herself and started working on me, Yuliza came over introduced herself looked at my hair and the style I wanted. Olga continued working on my hair which all in all was about 4 plus hours(I had a lot done) Once my color and blow was completed Yuliza came to cut and style my hair. After 5 hours I left the salon VERY satisfied. 5 hours well spent…Yuliza was very professional and caring and so are all her employees… BUT OLGA is my fave😍. Thank you for understanding what I wanted and brought it to life. A high end salon right in my neighborhood..”

“What can I say about this hidden gem.. it’s truly hidden of sorts. Went on a Wed afternoon 4-5pm. Less than a handful of people walking around. Initially had a hard time finding parking since parking on Whitestone Expy is allowed after 6pm. After circling the park, realized I had no choice but to park on the Expy service road. I would say it doesn’t feel like the safest place to be with trucks parked there. Don’t know what kind of people are hidden in there. Used the rink for hockey practice for about and hour. Would go back with more people but probably not again just the two of us!”

The fish sandwich was good but like most places it needs to be fried a little longer to keep it crisp and so it doesn't go soggy so quickly. The onion rings here are fantastic.”
