“Creedmor has it's up and downsides, but it's necessary. We need more mental health facilities in this country, not less. To all you people complaining about this place being in your neighborhood, that place has been a psych hospital since the early 1900's. The mentally ill need to be cared for, and that's where we do it in NYC. They didn't move next to you, you moved next to them. You don't like it? Go somewhere Fing else! The nurses aides on the third floor were kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. In addition, Ms. Kerr, the Director of Social Work, was responsive and extremely helpful during my mother's stay and even after her discharge. Thank you all for your care during my mother's stay.”

“I went to Dr. Caponigro for a second opinion, in regard to whether I actually needed surgery. He was so pleasant and friendly, I decided to let him do the surgery. I am so glad I did. He has been a joy as a doctor. Both he and his assistant were very comforting. They made me relax, and explained everything about the surgery. He was thorough and professional each and every time I saw him. I highly recommend him. I am so happy with him. I will be going back to see him as a regular foot doctor.”

“I was apart of the in-patient facility and I can say it was the best ????. I was there for literally for 4 years and it helped me with my anger and depression. This was the best experience ever ???? changed my life. The staff there is amazing and the school safety is the best ???????? I’m really happy I was sent here for help because this place changed a lot of us who turned 18 and was discharged. I just want to thank the staff for always telling me “Imani you have a good head on your shoulders and an amazing life to live” ‼️ Thanks to all the staff and therapist who was there for me. “This morning I received a call that my mom was being taken to the ER at St Johns Episcopal Hospital, my initial thought was no, this hospital is such a bad hospital. But once I arrived coming all the way from Jersey I was pleased to see the brand new renovations. It looked absolutely amazing. It was very busy but there was enough staff. When I felt like my mom wasn’t be serviced fast enough I asked to speak to a supervisor. I can’t remember her name but she was young, wore a blue and green dress and had long hair. She was sooooo helpful. She said she was the manager of the psych unit but she knew what she was doing then she told me she was a ER nurse too and I could tell by the way she was moving around the place. Very well spoken and patient. She also reassured me if I needed anything to ask for her personally. My mom is gonna be admitted and after spending the day in the ER I am confident she will be taken great care of upstairs.”
