I absolutely love this class. It truly is for everyone, no matter what your experience, skill level or physical fitness level Travis and Connie make you feel at home. The students are wonderful and welcoming. This class helps to build not only your stamina and fitness levels it also helps to build confidence and provides usable techniques to defend yourself. The class is structured to help you build strength speed and skill without being intimidated.

I have previous injuries, no experience and am not fit at all. I am constantly surprised by how much I enjoy this class and the supportive, encouraging environment that they have built.

Don't second guess yourself come try out a class!

This is my first month and it is absolutely worth it! The instructors keep me engaged mentally and physically. I look forward to the next class and learning new life saving techniques while getting an awesome workout!

Having my son attend Armored Self Defense has been one of the best decisions. The instructors are absolutely amazing, and teach with a passion that is rarely seen today. Master Cook and his team have exactly the right temperament and balance between dicipline and fun. My son is learning not only to defend himself, but the interpersonal skills necessary to be a happy, healthy individual.

The training room is a bit small, but it’s kept in immaculate condition! Without exaggeration, it may be the cleanest gym area I’ve ever seen!

Whether you have experience or are a beginner, ASD is definitely the place to go for premium training. With over 30 years experience and an incredible teaching method you can’t go wrong. I took 4 students to try a class, from 14-22 years old, and they loved every minute, so much that I intend to send all my clients to them for self defense training.
I couldn’t have asked for a better partnership in preparing my senior portrait clients for their future.

I tried their class because friends had gone to them. I was nervous thinking I was in no way strong and fit enough to do this and was afraid I would not enjoy it. Boy was I wrong... Connie and Travis made me feel right at home. They both are warm and friendly and helped me catch up to the other students and I really felt connected! The skills I have learned bad continue to learn after a year of classes have helped me feel more confident working by myself in my business. I have gained strength, balance and confidence as well as losing weight. So glad I took the chance
