  Al"s is the best soul food spot on the island..real fried chicken & the sides are amazing..baked mac & cheese and potato salad highly recommended

  I cook southern food and is very picky about where I get my family’s food from. I usually cook it myself, however I trust and had Al’s food for a while now! It is absolutely delicious and whenever I have a party or need to get southern food quick I come to Al’s kitchen! Don’t let the shop fool you! This is the best soul food you gonna fond on the island!

  I first knew this place 7 years ago, when I came out of church with my children looking for a place to get some good food because we didn't feel like cooking. It wasn't disappointing. My children and wife enjoyed it so much that we go there very often to get food when we don't wanna cook. The price is very reasonable, the place is very clean and Big Al and his wife are very friendly. The food, wow wow wow, very tasty and finger licking good. Give it a try and you would know.

  just moved over here first time eating there today and I must say reminds me of the south 😍😍😍😍😍😍 so good no complaints I was hoping there was something over here in the boondocks that would be worth eating and look at God 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 need more places like this

  Nice day for a drive to get Sunday dinner @ BIG AL's!! Glad I did, because it gave me a chance to see where my food is being prepared..
  This kitchen spot is located on the corner. Though it's not a sit and dine restaurant, the Southern aroma permeates in the air.
  Upon walking in the 'Kitchen, Big Al. himself greeted us. After placing our orders, Big Al went to business: preparing our plates: BBQ Ribs, Turkey Wings, Potato salad (which I've had a taste for quite awhile), Collard Greens.
  DELICIOUS!!!! Ribs were well seasoned with the right amount of BBQ sauce. Love a rib when the meat is falling from the bone, tender & succulent... The potato salad was just right! Tasty and to my liking.

  Healthy portions! Each food dish greeted with a nod and smile. Well worth the price. We'll be back to try the other dishes.
  Big Al , the owner, was pleasant and welcoming.
  
  Hope he adds desserts to his menu... That would be the topping to a good day's or night's meal.
  I'd definitely recommend this eatery if you're looking for a fresh home cooked meal!!
