(November 17, 2018, 1:55 pm)My review is particularly for the general manager, Kenny, who’s a stand-up guy, and wonderful reflection of LA Fitness. I don’t particularly go to this location as much as I go to the Richmond Avenue location, but when I do- I love it. Kenny resigned me up in July, and reassured me I would be satisfied. He helped me with my monthly payments and truly is patient, kind, soft spoken. What a difference compared to what’s usually in gyms! I just want to shout-out a thank you to him on here. He should truly be recognized for being an excellent customer service person.

(November 10, 2018, 9:31 pm)Great gym, sometimes crowded during rush hr. Monday to Thursday 5pm to 9pm. I like the hours. If u go early. U can workout anyway you please. Clean lockers, showers can be cleaner. 4 stars due to dry sauna always being out of service.

(October 14, 2018, 4:46 pm)Good place and great hours. I do wish some of the members would help out with the housekeeping. Rack your weights! Tissue paper should go in the garbage and not by the garbage! This isn’t rocket science people!

(September 27, 2018, 10:43 pm)4 stars for the gym, better than others (Planet, Retro, etc..) Usually went late during the week or early on the weekends. Not too crowded. Plenty of machines and free weights. It does the job.
The 5 star rating is for GM Kenny Yoo. Wasn't sure about getting a membership but Kenny broke everything down and I got the perfect plan for me and my family. I especially liked the fact that we weren't stuck in a contract and could terminate the membership at anytime. He'd check up every once in a while to make sure we were still satisfied with our plan. I've had my membership for about a year but have recently moved out of Staten Island. Now the closest LA Fitness to me is about 45 mins away in Long Island which is difficult to make time for with my work schedule. If its going to take me an hour and a half in total travel time I would rarely go and it would be a waste of money. Kenny made the cancellation process easy and did it quickly so I was able save a months payment before the move. If you're not sure that joining is right for you, don't stress about it, just ask for Kenny Yoo. He'll help you figure out whats right for you, whether you chose to join or not. And if you need to cancel your membership for any reason, he makes it easy which is a huge relief.
