(September 20, 2018, 11:52 am)A school is only as good as it's instructor and Professor Farrison is as good as they come. The only active and accomplished black belt competitor in the Rockland county area, who keeps pushing himself and has proven his BJJ in wins over world class competitors.
That being said, Professor Farrison is also a law enforcement officer who understands the importance of being able to apply BJJ techniques in a self defense situation.
So if you are looking for self defense, competition or just trying to get in shape, NY United BJJ is the place for it all. -

(September 20, 2018, 11:35 am)Great school to learn bjj , Professor Farrisons level of training is second to none, with his background in law enforcement as well as high level wrestling and world class ju jitsu he’s able to connect with his students who’s goals are self defense , competition, or simply physical fitness and create an environment that’s pushes you to your limits with real life applications... highly recommend!!

As the only competitive Black Belt in Rockland County he has won numerous championships & awards. As a current Law Enforcement Officer, the training Professor Farrison provides is as realistic as it gets. He is aware of the situations you can find yourself in and provides you with the training you could actually use to defend yourself.
Professor Farrison's classes are tough, he is tough and when it comes down to it, that is who you want to learn from. He will not sugar coat anything, but you will see the pride he has in you when you do well.
With Nine years of Collegiate Strength Conditioning experience, a current Law Enforcement Career, and being the ONLY accomplished Black Belt in the county, Professor Khyl Farrison can provide you with everything you need for successful training. -

Kyhl is a very knowledgeable instructor who wants the best for his students and it shows in his teaching. Kyhl is also the only competitive black belt in the area. For LEO this school is a highl recommended place to learn and hone your skills.

Professor Farrison accomplishments in the world of BJJ are incomparable with other black belt instructors around the area. He has and will continue to put it all on the line. He is the only active competitor within the Rockland area. The instruction and attention to detail is what makes NY United BJJ a premier school within the Rockland area. Whether you are a competitor or want to practice BJJ at your leisure, i would highly recommend NY United BJJ. Not to mention the great group of guys in the academy.
