Joe helped me with my move from North Rockland to Westchester. The entire process was easy and Joe was always great to deal with. I also used them to store my box for about a month. Arranging drop off and pick up dates was super easy and price was reasonable. I have recommended them to friends and family. I will use them again!
Today I finally ended a six month experience with Mi-Box. Back in September, I thought I would have to make a quick move, so I called around and found the best price for the unit I wanted to move my three bedroom house. They were able to deliver the unit before a week was out. The quick move ended up dragging on into December when I was finally able to make my move. Mi-Box came and picked up the unit at my old house in Middletown and delivered it to my new house in Port Jervis. Over the next month and a half, we emptied the unit and made arrangements for pickup. Then we started getting snow storms twice a week. It took an additional 2 weeks before they were able to get the unit. I would have preferred it to have left sooner but I completely understand the weather impact. Even with the hiccup at the end, the folks at Mi-Box delivered a product and service that was everything I had thought it should be. Thank you Mi-Box.
MI BOX is ALL about Customer Service!! I scheduled 2+months in advance with PODS - two 8x8x16 containers to be delivered on same day in same large driveway. PODS delivered the first one in the morning (on schedule) but complained they could not fit the 2nd one in. After arguing with Driver & Dispatch, i gave in and went the route of loading first POD and do a switch later in the week. after 2 days of back/forth with PODS , they could not get me back into schedule that week! Unbelievable as the 2nd container was not delivered AND was on the schedule to pickup from me on Friday anyway. Peter came through when PODS could not ! He not only got me a container mid-week, his skilled drivers parked this container right where PODS said they could not drop theirs! Sad as MiBox does it with a truck... PODS does it with remote delivery system (easier and much more accurate placement). I now have 1 MiBox and 1 POD in storage due to moving but will never use PODS again.... i will only call Mi Box as he made my move! Thank you Peter ! Never lose your Customer Service as that is what makes you special and superior !!
