Recently had the pleasure of hiking through this park. A beautiful little park with a great waterfall, particularly when water's flowing heavier, as well as some great trails and views. Love that this park can be joined with other nearby town, county, and state parks for longer hikes. A great piece of a larger area!
Falls not running when I visited in the end of July. Beautiful overlooks and a nice quick hike, not too intense about a mile of varying ups and downs of you take the blue trail. Very full of life, deer and rabbits seen throughout the trek. Watch out for raspberry prickers on the sides of the trail
We did the blue trail loop today, it was a 1.5 mile beginner/intermediate hike. The trail going up past the falls is steep and a bit narrow. Some nice views.
Pretty little falls. Trail starts at north end of parking lot. Nice views from the top of the ridge looking west. Via connecting trails you can make a loop that will bring you back to the south end of the parking lot.
This is a lovely hike. Its not too steep and all of the climbs have decent footing. Children would have a ton of fun on this trail as well as beginners. As for the views: you get your money's worth. For the ease of this trail, the views and the falls are worth it. The falls are beautiful on their own and the views are pretty. Being able to see the mountains on the right was impressive.
Overall definitely recommend for the novice hiker or family.
