Sloatsburg Service Area

It is one of the rest stops on I-87 that has a covered parking. The facilities are good and clean. I like the Taste NY items available there. Gas station is sometimes pricy compared to the other rest stops on this direction of I-87. But a good rest stop to stretch your legs and you family. Not sure if there is a dog park. But yesterday I saw a dog shelter at the entrance - this is new.

A decent stop. They have little pet boxes for you pooch! Never saw them before! Took a picture, but cant find it!!

Decent rest area. Plenty to eat and a decent sized store for buying snacks etc for your travels. They have the largest selection of Cheez-its that I've ever seen at a rest area. Parking area is a bit odd. Not thrilled with the layout of the parking area.

A bit crowded in the parking lot at times but it's to be expected since I usually stop there holiday times. Regardless, the place is always clean and the staff of the stores are always professional and every one just keeps to them selves. It's a nice in and out stop and also has a nice gift shop for those interested. I notice a lot of people park up and sleep there so it must be a safe place to rest up if you're on a long drive and can't stop in a hotel or so.
