  Never disappoints. Friendly, down home feel with good grub. Service can be spotty, but never a real turn off.

  Stopped in on the way home from apple picking. Definitely worth a visit. Good food and drink. Homey warm decor. Friendly people.

  Found this place by accident. Bartender/owner is awesome as well as most all the employees. Great food. Good beer selection. Good time talking to the regulars. Hope to get there again some day.

  Good atmosphere. Bar was loud and packed when we were there. Service was excellent. Food was average although good size servings. We tried the curry chicken and the shepherds pie.

  Just had a surprise birthday party for my husband at Characters. Jenny and her staff were more than accommodating! I planned the whole event from out of town and the staff was so helpful. The food was perfect, the private room was just right for our crowd and the service was excellent. Our John Wayne theme was accented by their own extensive collection of the Duke displayed on their walls. I would highly recommend Characters for lunch, dinner, a fun night out or a big party!!
