    So my rating will vary depending on the campsite neighbors. We have had amazing times at the campground over the past decade plus but we have also been frustrated to no end when neighbors brought lawn equipment and started destroying the woods. We have not thought twice about calling the park police and rangers. Thankfully we have gotten some horrible people kicked out for damaging the trees and nature.
    We will only ever camp in W section because we adore the nature and enjoy the solitude.

    Very nice campground, spacious spots and nicely secluded. We stayed during 'walk in only' season (late October). It was very convenient, after hours you just pick your spot and go to the office in the morning to pay and/or reserve more days. They were very nice in the office and were accommodating. They also didn't mind that we were staying in a hearse, which was an issue for Croton on Hudson camp (they rudely hung up on me). If only they had electricity, this would be the best campground outside of the city!

    Not many attractions within walking distance but the campgrounds are very spacious. Plenty of sink areas to wash dishes, showers are kept clean for a camp site. We did see some wild life also. A deer ran through our camp area and some chipmunks were running around.

    Big sites. Campground store closes at 4 I think which is incredibly dumb. Beach is beautiful. Fire pits on campground. Sinks spread over. Decent bathrooms/showers. Will definitely come back.
