We had a fun day at the track. We were invited guests of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. We enjoyed the 1863 building, the food and drink. We did not win on race, but we didn’t mind. Very nice and historic facilities.
Beautiful historic racetrack with plenty of shaded picnic areas and general admission trackside view of races and paddock areas. You can bring coolers with food and beverages. The horses that run at Saratoga are the best and you can see them up close. You can see the leading trainers and jockeys in action. The daily program is full of info on past performances of the horses, jockeys and trainers, types of bets you can make and other useful info. You can also have breakfast at the track and watch the horses workout usually accompanied by an announcer identifying the horses. An interesting, educational and colorful way to spend a day. Great people watching!
The oldest and best racetrack in the country. The warmest people, best service, and a day that will exceed your expectations! Beautifully kept and a father/son trumpet do ushering in the horses! Fantastic!
Fun day and way more adorable if you bring your own beverages!!!!! Make it a full day by getting there early, getting a table, bringing table clothes and bringing coolers and food!!! We had no idea you could do this ! Definitely will be back better prepared to spend a whole day here !! Recommend the dole ice cream for dessert!
Great place!! everyone we meet was friendly and helpful.
We had a big group with kids everyone had a great time , Things to know get there early especially if you have a big group, there are picnic tables that are first come first serve Plenty of parking although you will have to bring all your stuff from the parking lot to where ever you sit .
There is a kids play ground today they had a bounce house for little kids, there's not much for teens to do for entertainment, you can be 18 to bet. Plenty of great food vendors but it can get a bit pricey.
We brought food and drinks.
Over all this is a great place to go as a family and spend the day or as a group or even couples. Definitely going back.
